AIA Kansas - Where Architects Belong

AIA Kansas is a state chapter of the American Institute of Architects. By harnessing the power of the many, AIA Kansas can provide services and programs to meet the needs and interests of Kansas architects and develope public awareness for the value of architects and architecture.  Our members are leaders in building healthy, sustainable communities that will serve our citizens into the future.

Our local components, AIA Flint Hills, AIA Kansas City, AIA Topeka and AIA Wichita work with AIA Kansas to provide members the services and support needed to practice one of the most challenging, but rewarding, professions in the world.

Members Set the Agenda

AIA Kansas is the forum through which members define issues to be addressed. Today’s new technologies and markets make membership in AIA Kansas more important than ever to interns and architects in private practice, education, and government or in a corporate environment. AIA Kansas members continue to advance the architectural profession through maintaining their professional growth and expertise through meeting a set of stringent continuing education requirements, access to the latest architectural practice trends, and participation in community based outreach for historic preservation and disaster assessment programs.
